Our core business is in asphalt services, we also provide spray seal, civil / drainage, and concrete services to our clients. The business is currently going through a growth phase, and we are seeking an experienced Office/HR Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The Role
We are searching for an energetic, team focused individual to join, support and share the success of our growing business. Reporting directly to the General Manger the successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative assistance and support.
- Assist with employee onboarding and contract inductions.
- Maintain HR records and employee files.
- Coordinate staff training.
- Assist with internal and external HR related enquiries.
- Crew logistics – mobilisation and accommodation arrangements.
- Facilitate inbound calls and relay messages to relevant office personnel.
- Project Management Support
About you

Interpersonal Skills – Demonstrates exceptional communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
Organisational Skills – Demonstrates the ability to prioritise and balance their time across various business divisions. Has a sound understanding of organisational, HR and administrative processes, with a commitment to continual improvement.
Experience –
- Formal qualifications are preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced office administration role, with previous experience in HR preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Office Suite applications.
