About the Role

The  permanent Recruitment Business Partner is part of a dynamic team within the HR Systems and Services Department and is responsible for partnering and coaching client leaders to ensure best practice talent acquisition sourcing strategies, methods and tools are developed and implemented in the delivery of FRV selection processes.

Functional Accountabilities include:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, forming a strong understanding of their business unit, structure, technical requirements and cultural fit;
  • Manage multiple end-to-end recruitment processes simultaneously for senior, specialist, technical and operational vacancies at FRV;
  • Source and attract candidates with pro-active sourcing strategies and tailored and targeted recruitment campaigns for each role;
  • Educate the business and provide a professional recruitment consulting service to leaders in respect of FRV recruitment processes, best practice recruitment methodologies and legislative requirements;
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of FRV's recruit firefighter, operational promotions and secondment selection processes as required.

What you will need to Succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or an equivalent level of expertise and knowledge gained through experience and training;
  • Solid experience in an advisory or Business Partnering role which includes volume recruitment in a large organisation;
  • Demonstrated understanding of candidate attraction, including employment marketing, employer branding, proactive sourcing and/or candidate experience principles;
  • Subject matter knowledge & professional experience in designing, implementing & coordinating recruitment selection tools and methodologies;
  • Proven ability to provide advice and guidance on contemporary best practice recruitment/selection practices, which adhere to legislative and EEO requirements.

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience
