Caretakers Australia is a boutique recruitment agency, specialising in permanent placements and relief management for the accommodation industry. We primarily recruit for Management roles in caravan parks, motels, serviced apartments and independent living communities. We have a great reputation as being the premier recruiter in this industry, having been in business for over 20 years. We have a rare opportunity to join our small, friendly team.
About the role
This is a great opportunity for someone with recruitment or HR experience who wants to take a step back to Part Time hours, initially 2 days per week with a view to working 3 days. One day per week on a Thursday we work in the office (Eastern Suburbs location – good coffee and muffins provided!)
The role is interesting and varied - you’ll be involved in the entire recruitment process and gain great satisfaction from providing our clients and candidates with the best possible customer service.
Duties will include:
- Chatting to our wonderful clients and candidates on a regular basis, providing them with outstanding customer service
- Answering queries from new clients, taking job briefs and providing quotes
- Talking to new candidates who wish to work with our client base of motels and holiday parks
- Sourcing candidates
- Reading resumes and assessing candidates skills
- Interviewing
- Reference checking
- Keeping the database updated with detailed notes
- Various other admin tasks including mailouts and posting on social media
About you
Ideally you will have
- Some recruitment / HR experience
- Fantastic attention to detail (you will love crossing T’s and dotting I’s) and following systems and procedures
- Great admin skills
- Knowledge and experience with social media
- Sales skills (or a willingness to pick up the phone and chat to potential clients about our services)
- Experience in the accommodation sector is advantageous or having stayed in holiday parks and motels is a good start!
NB you must be based in Melbourne for this role.
