Your Opportunity
Reporting to the CIO, you will play a vital role in supporting, configuring, and maintaining our ERP system within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
Documenting ERP Requests: Gather and document ERP requests from business users to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Creating Comprehensive Scope Documents: Develop detailed high-level scope documents that outline project requirements and objectives.
Performing System Enhancements: Execute IT system enhancements based on gathered requirements to improve functionality and performance.
Developing Custom Programs: Create customised programs, scripts, and ERP configurations to meet business needs.
Collaborating with Experts: Work closely with external Vista ERP experts to build an internal knowledge base and expertise.
Designing Functionalities: Design user-friendly functionalities and interfaces to enhance user experience.
Troubleshooting and Optimisation: Troubleshoot issues and optimise system performance to ensure efficient operations.
Software Integration: Install ERP software and ensure smooth integration with other systems.
User Access Management: Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding of Vista user access.
Project Communication: Maintain clear communication on project progress with all stakeholders.
What You Bring
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
ERP Technical Support Experience: At least 7 years of solid ERP technical support experience as a specialist is mandatory.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, ERP development tools, web development, coding, and system integration.
Industry Experience: Experience in the construction industry, particularly with Viewpoint Vista ERP, is a bonus.
Customer Mindset: A strong customer-oriented approach.
Team Collaboration: A natural collaborator and team player.
