About the roleAs the
Recruitment Manager, you will play a crucial role in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top-tier talent to drive Service Victoria's success.You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment processes, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, and fostering a positive candidate experience.This position reports directly to the Director, Portfolio Delivery and collaborates closely with Executive Directors and Managers to understand staffing needs and organisational goals.If you are a dynamic and strategic recruitment professional with a passion for driving organisational success through talent acquisition, we invite you to apply and be a key player in shaping our company's future.To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Written and Verbal Communication: Effective communication for building relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders. Clear and concise communication in conveying information, setting expectations, and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of recruitment practices: Understanding the latest trends, techniques and strategies in recruitment to attract top talent.
- Relationship Management: Sees things from another's point of view and confirms understanding; Understand motivations, needs and wants of stakeholders and their impact on service delivery; Tailor communications according to audience and/or audience preference.
- Analytical Skills: Analysing recruitment data, metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement, optimising recruitment strategies and making data driven decisions.
- Problem-solving Skills: Resolves issues through deep understanding or interpretation of existing guidelines. Where guidelines are not available, analyses ideas available and takes action through self, or in consultation with others to resolve problems. If required, determine additional information needed to make informed decisions. Applies critical thinking and problem-solving concepts in the right context
- Organisational Skills: Understands issues and pressures to which the organisation has to respond; Understands the reasons behind the organisational climate and culture
