Located in the Beef Capital of Australia, the JBS Rockhampton processing facility produces a range of pasture fed and grain fed beef products, from commodity to premium. Our organic beef brand, Acres Organic and Right to Roam, our verified grass-fed beef brand are both packed exclusively at Rockhampton. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days/week.
About the Role
JBS has the opportunity to join our Rockhampton Human Resources team as the Recruitment Officer.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End to end ownership of recruitment (selection, placement and onboarding)
- Ability to gain understanding of operational environment and tasks to support high quality placements
- Identification of recruitment and onboarding improvement opportunities
- Compilation of necessary reports
- Developing effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Develop relationships within the community to support ongoing community involvement such as local education, sporting clubs and Job Active providers
- Build the JBS brand in the community and supporting community initiatives and attending local careers fairs
- Develop relevant marketing campaigns targeting local areas
- Coordinating and attending careers days and relevant careers expos
