About Competitive Intelligence and Analytics (CIA)
CIA serves as the University's central data hub, consolidating information from diverse systems and shaping it into a comprehensive representation of the business process lifecycle. The Data Science team works with advanced technologies and an MLOps framework for effective collaboration. This dynamic team is dedicated to designing, producing, and enhancing machine learning models that predict and assess the University's performance across areas such as prospective students, current students, alumni, rankings, customer sentiment, and philanthropic/community partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and automate statistical models to meet University requirements
- Amplify modeling capabilities by linking models to varied datasets for frequent assessment
- Collaborate with Visualization Specialist to automate powerful insights into dashboards
- Work closely with the Principal AI & ML Scientist to understand client needs and conduct data tests
- Support ad hoc development of simulation data tools for Designs of Experiments and Scenario Modeling
- Provide analysis and insights, supporting engagement with University stakeholders
