The opportunity
Join our client’s dynamic team as a Regional Account Manager 50/50 split on account management and in-field where you'll play a pivotal role in achieving revenue and gross margin targets. You'll drive sales growth by providing exemplary technical and sales support to both new and existing customers, enhancing the visibility of our brand in stores, and conducting comprehensive training for retail staff.
About the Role
As the Regional Account Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving revenue and profitability for our client’s core customer base. Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, implementing strategies to expand their product range and optimize sales initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Marketing team, you'll stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and client purchasing patterns to identify new opportunities. Your insights will contribute to accurate sales forecasts and strategic plans aimed at maximizing margins. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in recommending and executing promotional activities to boost revenue and enhance product visibility.
In this role, you'll also be responsible for implementing promotional plans for national accounts. By maintaining robust relationships, coordinating field activities, and ensuring seamless communication across departments, you'll drive incremental business growth and maintain a competitive edge in the market. A significant aspect of your role will involve providing sales support and technical assistance core retailers through in-store events, end-user education sessions, and proactive relationship-building, you'll increase turnover and identify strategic opportunities to counter competitor activity.
