Your role
In joining as the Regional Account Manager, your primary objective will be to achieve the sales and retention targets for Australian Unity, via a range of distribution channels within your territory.
As the successful candidate, you will draw on your stakeholder management skills to build relationships both internally and externally. Your well-developed sales and marketing skills will set you up well to efficiently and effectively promote our product suite, track progress, seize opportunities and gain client and market intelligence.
This opportunity is positioned within the Wealth & Capital Markets platform. We do this through: delivering innovative, customer centric products well suited to life€™s changing needs; partnering directly with our customers in addition to intermediaries; and ensuring we operate our business efficiently and productively to enable our customers and employees to thrive.
About you
- Tertiary qualification preferably related to Finance and Investment
- Post graduate qualification or CFA designation well regarded
- Minimum five years full time experience in a financial services or business environment, preferably with a focus on investments, analysis, accounting or similar discipline, and networks across both IFAs and private markets / family offices
- Proven success in business development role, effectively driving sales growth
- Your success has been fashioned with customer-oriented approach with an educational style
- Broad knowledge of products administered by Financial Services industry
- Sophisticated skills in analysis, building the story and capturing the attention of others in delivery of message
- Authentic and compelling interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interpret research and market data
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Well-honed client service skills and a deep appreciation of processes
- Natural desire to seek continuous improvement and thinking innovatively
- Collaborative style, proactive and a bias for making things happen
