The Regional Admin Support Officer is responsible for the administration and coordination of the virtual Regional Landcare office. The position will work with the Regional Landcare Coordinator and the SEL Committee to manage the administrative component of the Landcare Coordinator program for SEL and its associated networks and groups. The Officer will focus on administration, processes and streamlining of systems to create a smooth and efficient virtual office to help to deliver against the target outcomes of the LEP.Supported by and working directly with the Regional Coordinator, the Regional Admin Support Officer will directly interact with Landcare NSW and agencies at the local district and network scale, in addition to local partners and Government bodies.The Regional Admin Support Officer will be expected to collaborate with a range of Landcare support people including Local Coordinators, other Regional partners, Landcare Committees, Local Government and Local Land Services.Additional hours may be available from time to time to assist with various related projects as funding is secured and as assistance is needed.Key Deliverables of a Regional Admin Support Officer
- Administration relating to the day to day running of South East Landcare, possibly including payroll
- Management of the records of SEL (currently in Google but soon to shift to Microsoft), ensuring they are available to other staff, committees and District Landcare Associations as appropriate
- Regular communication (including newsletters and social media) with members and volunteers
- Management of the program reporting systems, including documentation of activities, outcomes and resources of the Regional Priority Plan and the aligned Local Priority Action plans, to ensure the Region is on-track to meet outcomes
- Liaise with local groups to assist development of Local Priority Action Plans, and to support the implementation of the Regional Priority Plan
- Assisting Local Landcare Coordinators with reporting
- Facilitation of other regional projects and processes into the SEL administrative systems
- Executive and Steering Committee secretarial and financial duties
- Maintain stakeholder records of the regional Landcare network and facilitate alignment of systems at the district and local level
- Assist with the development, adoption and delivery of common technologies, systems and processes among Landcare groups in the region
- Support for training and skill development for coordinators, committees and volunteers through the Regional Community of Practice and related activities
- Creation of presentations and webinars
- Assistance in grant writing and submissions
- Facilitate linkages between Landcare activities and projects, Local Land Services and Landcare NSW
- Admin assistance with the Indigenous Engagement Processes, to ensure the components of the Indigenous programs/projects are incorporated into Landcare activities in the Region.
