Purpose of the role:
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth and establishing the presence within the Arbor markets across multiple state VIC, WA TAS and SA. The Business Development Manager will be tasked with generating leads, nurturing relationships, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets. Their efforts will be supported by extensive market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, enabling them to capitalise on emerging opportunities. Overall, we are seeking a proactive and results-oriented professional who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the Arbor industry and driving our client’s growth trajectory forward.
Responsibilities include:
- Expand Business Reach – Attract New Accounts
- Cultivate Orders from Established Accounts
- Conduct In-Person Client Meetings as Needed
- Assist Category Managers as Support
- Reach Out to Qualified Leads via Calls
- Prepare and Deliver Quotes
- Efficiently Manage Quote Pipeline
- Propel Order Fulfillment Process
- Curate Ideal Client Roster
- Engage in Cold Calling to Target Ideal Clients
- Collaborate with Marketing to Formulate Effective Strategies
- Maintain and Update Pipedrive Database
To be successful in this role:
- Demonstrated expertise in the Arbor industry, preferably within VIC, SA, or TAS regions, showcasing a deep understanding of regional markets.
- Familiarity with the Trades industry is desirable but not mandatory
- Proven track record in Capital Equipment Sales, illustrating proficiency in selling high-value equipment and navigating complex purchasing processes.
- Thorough knowledge of Arbor products
- Skilled in Business Development, particularly in phone-based outreach
- Proficient in Sales Order Administration
- Competent in CRM Administration, adept at utilising CRM systems to track interactions and enhance customer relationships.
- Driven by results, committed to achieving and surpassing sales targets to deliver measurable outcomes.
