Due to continued growth and expansion in its operations, an opportunity has now arisen for an Regional Engineering Manager with a sound manufacturing background to be responsible for day to day engineering and maintenance operations across several sites in Australia and Asia Pacific.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, key responsibilities include the following:
- Drive & lead all capital engineering & maintenance solutions for local & global Asia Pacific manufacturing sites.
- Provide effective leadership & focus to operational activities through effective day to day planning and management.
- Ensure all CAPEX projects are project managed across local & global Asia Pacific sites complying with all regulatory & legislative standards.
- Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) focusing on productivity, reliability, maximum efficiency and best work practices.
- As an active Senior Leadership Team (SLT) member, provide input and strategic focus to all business strategies.
- Actively manage key internal & external stakeholder relationships across operations, engineering & manufacturing.
- Tertiary/Trade qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical).
- Sound Technical Engineering background & experience in Glass, Chemical & Industrial Manufacturing.
- Effective leadership & management skills with the ability to lead, motivate & engage teams.
- Strong capital engineering & maintenance management knowledge.
- Ability to promote a team culture of continuous improvement.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong key internal & external stakeholder engagement.
