About the Opportunities
Available due to promotion, multiple exciting opportunities have arisen for mid and senior level Project Engineers to join a prominent facility situated in Moura, a vibrant locale nestled in the Dawson Valley near Biloela, central Queensland. In these roles, you will have the opportunity to own capital programs, liaising with internal stakeholders across various disciplines, managing from pre-concept stages to help define risks, opportunities, and problems, then transforming concepts into viable projects and creating a project pipeline. You will then oversee a continuous project pipeline across the entire project lifecycle through commissioning and close-out. These projects will award you the exposure to replacing high-pressure and high-temperature equipment, green hydrogen projects and much more.
Biloela is a rural gem offering a community feel, bustling job market, and all amenities. Alongside local outdoor activities and picturesque natural beauty, the coast and major centres of Rockhampton and Gladstone are within reasonable driving distance. A generous relocation package is provided inclusive of 6 months accommodation for these full-time, permanent roles.
About You
You have Australian recognized Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. Your hands-on project delivery experience in an operating plant or site environment has equipped you with a deep understanding of capital portfolio processes, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring. You possess proficiency in upfront project development, with the ability to build, understand, and articulate business cases from initiation through to execution and operation. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are complemented by strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Training in PMBOK or Prince2 project management methodologies is preferred. Experience with high-pressure equipment and exposure to petrochemical or ammonium nitrate environments would be highly beneficial.
