ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate Regional Manager to lead our store teams in Victoria. The Regional Manager is ultimately responsible for maximising profitable sales through developing and inspiring their teams, along with the productive implementation and management of merchandise, marketing, and operational strategies across our stores in Victoria.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, the Regional Manager will have a region of ten stores across Metro Sydney, Canberra and Regional NSW, and be responsible for the following:
Leadership and Culture
- Advocates and nurtures the ethos that our vision is achievable through a region-wide commitment to making CCX a great place to work. Through developing passionate and connected teams, we can create exceptional customer experiences at every touch point.
- Put our customer at the heart of every decision, champion our core capabilities through hands on leadership and deliver open and honest feedback at every opportunity.
- Lead and inspire retail teams, through coaching, mentoring, and providing relevant skill assessments and development opportunities.
- Clearly set expectations and standards of work performance and behaviour in accordance with business expectations.
Financial Management
- Monitor store and region financial KPI's - sales, profit, loss – providing sales and financial guidance to store leaders to ensure all targets are met
- Coordinate store teams through effective rostering techniques to optimise the use of human resources while adhering to labour budgets
- Minimise loss and achieve shrinkage targets
- Locally manage stock to optimise gross margin potential
Compliance
- Keep up to date with current company policies, procedures and relevant legislation and enforce these internal and external compliance processes as required.
- Ensure all retail compliance reports and audits are completed within set time frames.
- Hands-on practical understanding of retail conduct and performance expectations and how to ensure these are achieved across your region.
This role will require you to be willing and able to travel throughout NSW, so a full driver’s license is required.
This role is autonomous; you will split your time between being on the road visiting stores and admin from your home.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a passionate and driven retail leader with the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years experience in a similar senior retail role in fashion apparel
- Multi-Store Management of up to 10 stores will be highly regarded
- Exceptional communication and team-building skills
- Love of coaching and skilling up your team
- Solid understands the financial drivers and levers of a brand and how to manage a profit centre
- Strong manager and delegator with well-developed performance management skills.
- Strategic thinker and competent at turning strategy into tactical plans
- A genuine love and understanding of our brand and core capabilities
- A self-driver who takes initiative to think outside the square to achieve outstanding results
- Degree qualified in business, retail operations, property management or project management will be
- Experience with effectively managing a roster, payroll approvals and wage control
