 About the Role 

The Victorian Regional Manager is a crucial role spearheading the establishment and growth of our company's presence in Victoria. This newly created position is pivotal to executing our national growth strategy and ensuring the successful expansion of our client services and operations in a new state. This all encompassing role is responsible for leadership, strategic development and profitable operation of KASE Building and Restoration Group in Victoria.

The role will involve establishing and overseeing the daily operations of all aspects of our insurance and NDIS  projects and provide leadership to the Victorian teams. This role will ensure that the entire functions of the business are working effectively and efficiently. The position also works with other industry bodies such as Insurance companies, Broker’s, Loss Adjustors, and clients.

The Ideal Candidate

KASE Group are looking to welcome a highly capable and experienced Regional Manager, ideally it will be someone from the insurance construction industry who brings passion, capability, and leadership qualities along with an network of client and trade relationships. This role will be an opportunity to work alongside a well-respected business founder and a private equity team to drive growth and shape the business for the future.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for market expansion and business development in Victoria.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and Leadership Team to lead Operations and overall organizational growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects for revenue targets and Victorian growth.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including industry bodies, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage talent acquisition and retention, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to teams.
  • Oversee project management, quality control, and safety protocols in collaboration with project teams.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing regional team.
  • Ensure staff members and contractors are meeting their individual and monthly KPI and undertake probational and regular reviews
  • Create and maintain contractor and supplier relationships and agreements
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and achievement of financial goals.
  • Review financial reports, analyze project profitability, and make informed decisions to maximize financial performance.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of safety, establish safety protocols, and proactively identify potential risks.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent injury, minimize disruptions and ensure compliance with safety regulations. 
  • monitor WHS management system and ensure safety management system is being implemented and followed.
  • Provide daily/monthly reports, including financials, performance, budgets, and new business.
  • Confident in using building system- Prime Eco System / Procore Job Management system.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and feedback.

  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance and/or construction industry, understanding market trends, regulations, and best practices, with a track record of successful growth.
  • A focus on achieving and exceeding targets, with a results-oriented approach to business development, financial management, and project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on and practical approach to addressing challenges in the insurance building industry.
  • A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude with a sense of urgency, taking ownership and accountability for tasks and challenges as they arise.
  • Maintaining a high level of credibility in the industry, delivering on promises, and being a trustworthy and respected figure among clients, employees, and contractors.

Experience

Minimum 5 years proven experience in a similar Construction/ Regional Manager role – insurance industry experience is preferred. Trade qualification is a must.
