About The Role
As the Regional Manager - Victoria, you will inspire the IKON cleaning team to perform to IKON's exemplary standards.
You will be responsible for the management of and the ongoing maintenance of the key cleaning contracts across Victoria.
This is a strategic management role to ensure the requirements (specifications) of our clients through individual contracts are understood, developed and implemented and in particular, ensure that our high cleaning standards are met and exceeded.
The role will maintain a strong relationship with out client and ensure that issues are quickly identified, investigated and resolved. Additionally, this position must seek out ways to add value to the client relationship, seek out extra work/ special orders and manage business integration with new sites.
Specific responsibilities will include;
- Ensure Quality standards are met or exceeded
- Ensure the profitability of contracts by controlling labour and purchasing;
- Setting standards and expectations for personnel at all levels;
- Driving a motivated and effective workforce;
- Making the health and safety of all staff a priority;
- Seeking opportunities to improve the service standards including cost savings;
- Ensuring that cleaning equipment is well maintained and available;
- Ongoing training and development of direct reports;
- Review and suggest improvements for any or all aspects of the contract
- Innovative use of technology & consumables to achieve optimum cleaning outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following;
- Min 5 years’ cleaning management experience, leading large teams at multiple sites, within the cleaning or similar industry;
- Advanced client relationship experience
- Proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders at all levels;
- Proven experience managing medium to large contracts against deliverables;
- Sound numerical skills and budgeting skills;
- The ability to multi-task while having high attention to detail;
- Sound communication and computer literacy and verbal / written skills.
While this role is employed to work Standard Business Hours, flexibility is essential. The ability to manage across multiple shifts including day, afternoon and night as well as public holidays and weekends.
