About the Role
The Regional People Development Officer, Australasia will be the central coordinator for all regional learning and development activities. They will offer their expertise to ensure our enterprise programs run effectively and that the Australasia signature programs are well planned and meet the targeted business needs. This role will also support aspects of the hiring process for the Corporate Office.
Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards but not limited to:
- Provides advisory and administrative support to deliver the 2024 regional learning and development plan.
- Utilizes the LMS and available HR systems to maintain good quality learning records and identify opportunities for future.
- Assist with the smooth operation of the HR Department including; updating training records, printing training materials, updating electronic files as per guidelines.
- Act as a point of contact for Team Members, Hotel HR Teams, job seekers, candidates, new starters and leavers for any enquiries ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders in a proactive and professional manner.
- Assist the Regional Human Resources team as required with support for the recruitment process.
- Conduct regular self-audits on the HR Department and the Human Resources practices within the Sydney Regional Office and makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness of areas of responsibility.
- Effectively use the Taleo candidate manager system for streamlining the recruitment process as required.
- Maintain understanding in, and in compliance with, the department budget and flag any significant spend with the Regional Senior Human Resources Manager.
- Adheres to Human Resources departmental operating expenses.
