Realistically this role is a general management position for someone who can display a successful career through a sales driven pathway in a multi-national FMCG company.
The company is part of a global multinational with revenue in excess of US$200 billion. This entity has circa $2 billion in revenue and is highly profitable. It has a strong perspective on sustainability and its products assist the global community in meeting a reduction of carbon emissions.
The ideal person would have developed into a senior executive in a company where they have controlled both strategic and tactical activities of a large and successful sales team. In this position your substantial team consists of Area Managers who in turn have Account Managers, Sales Representatives and support staff reporting to them. The team is positioned throughout Victoria and Tasmania and this position is responsible for all sales related activities including strategic decisions such as the placement of distribution facilities, head count, revenue budgets, training, mentoring etc.
The position will appeal to someone who is creative, strategic by nature; what you might term a “fresh thinker” always looking to find alternative approaches to growing a business.
This is a senior executive position with control of regional revenue that is in excess of $250 million.
Any formal education you have completed including an MBA, Degree in Management or Marketing etc would be well regarded.
