With our current Regional Supply Manager (RSM) moving into a new role internally we are searching for a highly motivated RSM to help drive our baby leaf and vegetable supply plan as part of a national team. The successful candidate will work to ensure the ongoing availability and competitiveness of raw materials in support of our operating requirements.
A day in the life
- Support the General Manager Produce and peer RSM's, in coordinating produce vegetables and baby leaf supply from our growing regions to meet sales orders and dispatch times whilst optimising gross margins and maximising customer satisfaction.
- Work in partnership with our supplier base ensuring mutual sustainability, competitiveness, and innovation within our produce portfolio.
- Work with our manufacturing facilities, business partners and customers to exceed daily expectations.
- To critically review our supplier landscape and determine the necessary strategies to strengthen our competitiveness and create value for our grower partners by being the best channel to market for their produce.
Requirements
- Higher Level Education (Degree or Equivalent) and / or relevant experience in produce supply chains with a focus on babyleaf and vegetable supply chains
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong supplier engagement experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
