We are currently seeking a Supply Program Manager to join our Aero Sales team. Reporting to the Program Director, you will be responsible for the associated program leadership and management to ensure the successful supplier development and delivery of pilot work scope (undertaken by our industry network) for the program and to contribute to its overall successful program execution. This includes the planning, implementation and management of project deliverables (configuration and data management), the definition collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources) the management of any additional allocated work scope and resources, and the identification of issues and risks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure the supplier scope for pilot are delivered in accordance with contemporary supply chain and Program Management Best Practices.
· Lead and manage the supplier program scope within the combined pilot Australian and US teams.
· Ensure supplier program technical compliance, schedule and earned value in accordance with program requirements.
· Deliver comprehensive plans and supporting artefacts to ensure program success.
· Supplier planning, implementation and management of project deliverables by:
- Defining supplier deliverable lists,
- Supplier strategy,
- Supplier selection,
- Supplier management,
- Reporting and status of deliverables,
- Configuration management of program deliverables,
- Overall supplier program data management,
- Quality and consistency of deliverables through process implementation and reviews,
- Delivery of deliverable artefacts to the customer.
· Definition, collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources):
· Definition of key project metrics in consultation with the supplier program team,
· Maintain and develop high quality relationships with the supplier network, the leadership team and staff of Honeywell, our key pilot stakeholder, other supplies and sub-contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of programs outcomes.
· Act as key liaison between Honeywell and key supplier stakeholders on all significant operational and program execution matters.
· Support the implementation of a product lifecycle management system through transitioning program deliverables into the system and assisiting with process development around this system.
· Support the overall project marketing approach for the through integration of market and customer intelligence into planned program deliverables and marketing campaigns.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
· Demonstrated supplier management experience.
· Demonstrated experience with an engineering development program deliverables and management of program suppliers’ documentation.
· Have excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology;
· Must currently hold at least NV1 Australian Security Clearance; and
· Must have Australian citizenship.
· Experience in military or aerospace system design;
· Experience working on ASDEFCON programs;
· Experience in interpreting complex project performance specifications; and
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required.
