Our client is one of the largest providers of healthcare services in Australia and is currently recruiting Midwives to support their hospital’s ongoing commitment to ensuring caregivers deliver quality patient care. Roles are available across Perth & metro areas.
What will you be doing? In this role, you will plan, implement, evaluate and maintain a high standard of midwifery care to achieve desired clinical outcomes. Simultaneously recognising the needs and acknowledging the culture, values and dignity of all patients and their families. What do you need to have? The successful applicant must be able to work across the scope of the midwifery practice, which includes birthing suite, antenatal, postnatal and special care nurseries. A demonstrated competency in clinical practice and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is essential for this role. Evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Nurse and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate qualifications and experience in Neonatal/ Special Care Nursing.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the Unit/ Department speciality.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to organise workloads, prioritise, delegate, and meet timelines.
- Knowledge of and experience in risk management and quality improvement.
- Well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Commitment to the delivery of excellent customer care and customer service.
