Are you seeking a contract role till the end of 2024? If so, we have a wonderful opportunity for a
Medical Secretary to join the practice of a dedicated and delightful Specialist, conveniently located within the medical precinct of Malvern. Working one on one with the specialist surgeon undertaking administration and front desk reception duties.The role calls upon a person who is self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills and computer competency. Your talent to multi-task will be essential to your success in this role.
Your responsibilities will include:- Answering and directing phone calls and emails
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Preparation of scripts for doctor to sign
- Patient database management
- Follow up with Pathology and Radiology results
- Smooth management of patient consultation sessions
- Actioning patient billing and transactions
- Account billing and receipting
- General office and reception duties
To be considered for the role you will possess the following:
- Previous medical secretarial experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite (e.g. Word, Excel)
- Flexibility to cover leave
- Knowledge of Genie software (or other medical software)
The vacancy on offer is full time working Monday to Friday between the hours 9.00am to 5.00pm.This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is looking for a short-term contract or is thinking to taking a year off study!
