GENERAL PRACTICE – PERMANENT PART TIME VACCANCY

CTL Medical Services is an Inner City General Practice that has been operating for over 25 years. Our clinic is located in the heart of the Cairns CBD and is a well equipped modern facility. We are committed to promoting best health and well being to all of our valued patients and clients.
Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Registered Nurse in a permanent part time capacity to join our friendly team.
Current available days required; Monday to Thursday shifts with no weekend work.
Your role will be interesting and challenging due to the diversity of the medical work that is conducted at our clinic.
Full training will be provided to perform all of the necessary skills for the role.
Additional training and professional development will be offered to enhance your skills when courses become available.
This role is a permanent part time position with our preferred availability for shifts being Monday to Thursday of each week. Full day shifts are preferred with the working hours being somewhat negotiable.
Any overtime worked is paid at double time.
An undercover car park is supplied within the Corporate Tower.
An immediate start is available for the suitable candidate.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should be fully qualified with a desire for a General Practice Setting.
You will be required to provide your:
- Current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA
- Current CPR and First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Medical indemnity insurance
- Independent Nurse Immuniser Certificate (advantage but not necessary)

- Travel Vaccinations and Influenza
- Government Vaccine Ordering and Management
- Emergency Cart Management and Doctor’s Bag Ordering
- Workplace Injury Assessment and Management of Acute Injury
- Emergency Care, Acute Care
- Dressing Changes and Wound Care
- Assisting with Minor Procedures
- Occupational Medical Health Assessments
- ECG’S, Spirometry, Audiometry & General Observations
- Data Entry of Medical Assessments Detailed Information
- Ear Syringing
- Iron Infusions
- Aged Care Assessments
- Chronic Disease Management
- Maintaining Recall and Results Reminders System
- Sterilisation and Infection Control Management
- Cold Chain & Vaccine Management
- Medical Supplies and Medications Supervision and Management
