Are you a Registered nurse who is looking for an opportunity to work in Women's Health? Do you have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality care? Nepean Private Hospital is looking for motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to be part of our Women's Health team. We provide an introduction to obstetrics program for those interested in providing postnatal care, with the opportunity to undertake a sponsored Post graduate diploma of Midwifery. Nepean Private Hospital has established an excellent reputation in the community for its high commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction and quality improvement. Our Women's Health Unit encompasses antenatal, postnatal, intrapartum care, gynaecology, minor surgical paediatrics, delivery suite and a level 2 special care nursery. Our dynamic team is proud to provide women and their families the highest standard of care and customer service. You will be surrounded by a supportive team environment including an educator and dedicated clinical preceptors. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence based nursing care and provide an exceptional patient experience to woman and their families
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Deliver education and support.
Essential Criteria:
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
Current NSW Working with Children Check
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker
Basic computer skills
