The Position
As a Registered Nurse you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive resident experience and lead our care team to deliver safe and effective both consumer choice and clinical care to our residents.
Collaborating closely with our care team, this position entails ensuring that our residents receive the care they need with dignity, respect and involving them in all decisions about their health. Responsibilities include ensuring safe and high-quality care aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards, thorough documentation, and promoting a team-oriented environment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Current Registration with AHPRA.
Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care setting
- Excellent clinical knowledge
- Strong documentation, Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and ability to coordinate services, supervise staff as well as in-charge experience
- Passion for enhancing the lives of older people and an understanding the needs of people living with dementia
- Ability and willingness to work across all shifts (AM, PM, and night)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as the confidence to work independently
- Three doses of COVID-19 Vaccination
- Current Influenza Vaccination
