About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our Jesmond Team!
This position will report to the Care Manager, to ensure the care of our residents is of the highest standard and consistent with our Mission and Values.
Your main duties will include:
- Provide a range of key direct care activities such as nursing care procedures, restorative care, infection prevention & control
- Provide leadership and first line supervision to Nursing Assistants
- Collaborate with other health professionals and service providers in the coordination, management and delivery of care
- Develop, implement & evaluate Nursing Care Plans
- Documentation to support resident care needs
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- Completed qualifications in Nursing.
- AHPRA registration
- Excellent communication skills with patient, compassionate and caring approach to working with people.
- Takes initiative for problem solving with a resilient yet empathetic approach towards the solution.
- A good eye for detail
- A team player with a vibrant, welcoming, and pleasant manner
