About the role
Oryx is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurses who are available on a permanent permanent part time basis specifically for Afternoon Shifts who share our philosophy to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the care team in the delivery of care and services, ensuring a consistent high standard.
- Work autonomously and as a part of a team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of resident focussed care and support plans.
- Provide specialised nursing care, wound care and emotional support to residents.
- Ability to manage time and prioritise changing workloads.
- Provide oversight and mentoring to care staff.
- Complete documentation requirements in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Oryx Communities' policy and procedures.

Requirements for the Role
- Current Nursing (Div1) AHPRA registration
- Understanding of quality care and customer service to residents and their families
- Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new technology
- Understanding of ACFI/ AN-ACC and Aged Care Standards requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to successfully lead a team.
