We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join a staffing agency working across Aged Care Facilities in Newcastle and surrounds on a casual basis.
Shifts available include AM, PM, and ND. Adhoc and block bookings available.

Requirements:

• You’re a confident, compassionate, and organised Registered Nurse with experience in Aged Care.
• Ability to lead a team, collaboration and lead by example.
• Experienced in incident management including documentation, prevention, and resolution.
• Current AHPRA reg as a RN
• Min 6 months of experience in an Aged Care facility
• NDIS workers check, Police Check and provide an immunisation records

About the position:
As a Registered Nurse you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents. You will be responsible for ensuring their physical and emotional well-being while upholding the highest standards of nursing practice. Position includes.

• Comprehensive nursing care, medication administration, wound care, and additional requirements.
• Following the RN scope of practice within Aged Care
• Operate under infection control guidelines.
• Ensure a high level of communication and transparency with families or consumer represents.
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team while leading a team of nurses.
• Maintain incident prevention and management.
