The role
The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the Fertility team whose role encompasses the delivery of either direct, or indirect, patient care. As registered Nurse, you will be working along side an established dedicated team of fertility specialists, scientists and administration in a rewarding role focusing on the creation of families and supporting patients through their fertility treatments. The scope of practice may include, but is not limited to roles such as:
- Venepuncture
- Ultrasound
- Counselling
- Patient education
Essential criteria
- AHPRA Registered nurse and/or midwife
- At least 2 years post registration experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to make decisions promptly.
Desired but not essential
• Venepuncture
• Previous women’s health experience
• Previous fertility nursing experience
