Mitcham Private Maternity operates a 16 Postnatal Bed Ward, 5 Birth Suites and 10 SCN level 2, dedicated to delivering a higher standard of support and care for mothers to be and their newborns.
Our multidisciplinary team of experienced obstetricians, midwives, nursing staff, lactation consultants and allied health professionals' work together to ensure a comfortable and confident experience - before, during and after pregnancy. Our maternity care also extends to an Early Parenting Centre and Perinatal Unit, with opportunities to work within these areas.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic and motivated Maternity Services team!
Your Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
- Dual Registration will be highly regarded
- 3 years' experience or more as a Midwife with Birth Suite or Postnatal experience.
- The ability to speak a language other than English will be advantageous, but not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $35.25 - $48.74 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/RM Yr 1 - 8)

Requirements
- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19, a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
