About the role:
In this role our Nurses work Monday – Friday 8.00 am - 4:30 pm and are rotated throughout the Nurse Led Clinic and geographical areas in the Cessnock/Kurri Kurri LGA.
When not rotating in the Nurse Led Clinic you will be arriving at work to obtain your allocated clients for the day, preparing supplies before you depart, travelling to client's homes to provide Nursing care. You will be providing clinical care in the home such as; complex wound care, CVAD care, continence management and post-surgical drain management. You will return in the afternoon to complete your documentation.
Nurses working 3 days or more per week may be required to case manage a client load.
Where you’ll be working:
- We are a friendly team of Nurses working business hours (Monday - Friday) providing Nursing care to clients in the home in the Cessnock/Kurri Kurri LGA.
- Our service also encompasses a Nurse Led Clinic, Childhood Immunisation Clinic and Audiometry Screening Clinic.

Requirements:Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
About you:
- You will be a friendly, enthusiastic Nurse who is passionate about providing person-centred care to clients in their homes.
- You will have acute care nursing skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- You will have Clinical expertise in providing safe care in a resource poor setting.
- You will have the ability to independently recognise deterioration and escalate accordingly.
- You will have a current driver's licence and willingness to travel on a daily basis for up to 120kms a day sometimes in remote locations.
