Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to NDIS participants, ensuring their individual needs and goals are met.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop personalised care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor and manage complex health conditions, providing clinical support and education to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with NDIS standards and regulations.
- Provide training and support to care staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (five years minimum post-registration).
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled nursing role, preferably within the disability or community care sector.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and participant-centred care principles.
- Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to manage complex health conditions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- National Police clearance, NDIS screening card, Working with children check, and a current First aid/CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
