About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our close-knit ICU team on a part time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 339 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct.
Specialities include; 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrate high-level professional nursing practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processes
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient care
- Maintaining your own professional learning and continuous professional development
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in ICU
- Minimum 2 years Post Graduate Experience, previous experience in a Coronary Care/Critical Care Unit
- Relevant post graduate qualification
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards
- Excellent communication skills
