Located just 14km from Melbourne's CBD, Oak Towers is a 109-bed Service nestled in the tranquil suburb of Oakleigh. We currently have opportunities for Grade 2Registered Nurses to join our team to work overnight shifts.
Throughout your shifts, you will enjoy engaging with our much-loved residents as you evaluate their care needs. Your focus will be recognising resident needs and assisting them with services that enrich their daily living. In order to ensure that residents' individual care plan requirements are met, you will also provide comprehensive guidance to nursing and care staff. The care you provide will have a lasting positive impact on our residents and their families.
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Conduct baseline and required focus assessments of individual clients' needs and record findings within a Positive Wellbeing Model.
- Develop and review care plans based on assessment findings of individual client needs, ensuring that care strategies are based on evidence.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care strategies in consultation with clients, their representatives and other members of the care team.
- Maintain client documentation in accordance with electronic documentation and organisational and legislative requirements.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal/external service providers in the provision of services.
You are a dedicated clinician who can effectively communicate at all levels enabling you to achieve best nursing practices. Understanding the importance of providing quality care to our residents, you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact. You have excellent leadership skills and the ability to guide and direct our personal care workers onsite.
Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- The ability to problem solve using best practice methods and have demonstrated clinical knowledge.
- High level of professional written and verbal communication.
