About the role
Calvary North Adelaide Hospital has an exciting opportunity for motivated and experienced critical care Registered Nurses to join our team. Calvary North Adelaide has a new and committed nursing management team focused on improving patient and staff experience.
The 8 bed general intensive care unit provides comprehensive care to the critically ill, supported by 24/7 medical staff on site. The cohort of patients include general and bariatric surgical, oncology including RALI, maternity and total plasma exchange patients.
Full time, part time and casual position available.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing outstanding comprehensive clinical care and exceptional customer service to patients and their families
• Assessing, planning, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of each individual patient
• Demonstrate clinical skills and problem-solving skills relevant to the care of individual patient
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
What you bring
• Minimal 2 years post graduate experience
• Current AHPRA Registration, with nil restrictions
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
• Ability to autonomously and in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
