Our client, a private hospital, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team in the Medical Oncology/ Palliative Care Unit. If you have a passion for providing holistic care to patients facing challenging health issues, this is the role for you.
- Work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced medical technology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Offer support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality nursing care in an oncology or Palliative Care setting.
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for patients with complex needs.
- Strong communication skills and empathy to effectively engage with patients and families.
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.
- An adaptable and resilient nature to thrive in a fast-paced and emotionally demanding environment.
- Previous experience working with electronic medical records systems.
- Advanced certification in oncology or Palliative Care nursing.
- Experience in leading patient education and support programs.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology or Palliative Care nursing.
