About the role
Anglicare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Porter Lodge in Minto. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a residential aged care facility. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering person-centered care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring and documenting residents' health status and responding promptly to any changes or concerns
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic well-being of residents
- Providing guidance and support to care staff
Requirements for the role:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
