The Role:

An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with perioperative experience to join the team at Northern Health, Kilmore District Hospital Campus, Operating Theatre.

This position is ongoing part time - 48 hours per fortnight

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current AHPRA Registration with two - four years' experience as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in a similar role
• Experience and good working knowledge of Peri-operative Care
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Working knowledge of various specialties
• Desire to engage and invest in an expanding operating suite
• Provide anaesthetics assistance to patients undergoing all types of surgery and the post-operative care of patient
• Actively and positively contribute to a high functioning multidisciplinary Perioperative team.
• Experience in Peri-operative Care Nursing.
• Post Graduate qualifications in Peri-anaesthetic and Recovery Nursing is highly desirable
• Demonstrated high clinical standards in patient assessment
• Desired Post Graduate qualification in Perioperative Care
