The Role:
An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with perioperative experience to join the team at Northern Health, Kilmore District Hospital Campus, Operating Theatre.
This position is ongoing part time - 48 hours per fortnight
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA Registration with two - four years' experience as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in a similar role
- Experience and good working knowledge of Peri-operative Care
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Working knowledge of various specialties
- Desire to engage and invest in an expanding operating suite
- Provide anaesthetics assistance to patients undergoing all types of surgery and the post-operative care of patient
- Actively and positively contribute to a high functioning multidisciplinary Perioperative team.
- Experience in Peri-operative Care Nursing.
- Post Graduate qualifications in Peri-anaesthetic and Recovery Nursing is highly desirable
- Demonstrated high clinical standards in patient assessment
- Desired Post Graduate qualification in Perioperative Care
