About the Role
The Grade 2 Registered Nurse, under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager, will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care in his/her specific area. The Grade 2 Registered Nurse will be responsible for ensuring his/her own professional development in order to maintain clinical skills and knowledge.
You will also be responsible for:
- Supervision of junior nursing staff
- Participation in ongoing education and quality improvement program
- Document, observe and report relevant nursing findings within the framework of nursing progress
- Liaise with patient, patient's family, medical and ancillary staff as required or requested
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum)
Your Contribution
As an experienced, dynamic Registered Nurse, your strong communication and organisational skills will allow you to work successfully in a multidisciplinary team environment. Your demonstrated experience in surgical nursing will see you hit the ground running in this position, and will allow you to effectively prioritise patient care.
You will also have:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
