About the Clinic
Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre is an accredited general practice serving the communities of Aberfoyle Park, Flagstaff Hill, and surrounding suburbs for over 30 years. Our practice has a number of doctors and is co-located with Allied Health, including a psychologist. Our Centre is conveniently located on the corner of Manning and Summerford Roads in Aberfoyle Park.
Our Centre is delighted to extend our nursing team to further offer a permanent part-time or casual position for a Registered Nurse to join our team for 2 days per week with the flexibility to cover leave.
Nursing tasks are varied and examples include:
- Triage and management of acutely unwell patients
- Immunisations of children and adults
- Wound care
- Health assessments including workplace medicals
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Results notification and patient education
- Cold chain management
Our ideal candidate will have qualities, skills and experience including:
- Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration.
- Previous experience working in general practice and/or emergency preferable
- A warm and friendly personality with a commitment to working as a part of a team of professionals.
- Dedication to the provision of the highest standard of nursing care with exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility with workdays and hours.
- Proficient computer skills (previous experience with General Practice software not essential but highly regarded, especially Medical Director).
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to take on a dynamic role, working across CDM and treatment room
