AddressRole Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse located at a clinic in Batemans Bay, NSW. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The Registered Nurse will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with relevant clinical, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Understanding of and experience with providing health care services to Indigenous communities
- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic health records and medical documentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Postgraduate qualifications in Aboriginal health or related field are desirable
