Join the team as a Registered Nurse in our High Dependency Unit and help support our commitment to quality patient care!
About the Role:
Employees classified at this level provide nursing services in the Surgical Nursing High Dependency Unit. They consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience. An employee at this level accepts accountability for their own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the area of High Dependency Surgical Nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards
- Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Qualifications relevant to High dependency Surgical Nursing specialty desirable.
Please Note: This position is multi-classes as either RN1 or RN2C and classification will be determined by qualifications and experiencee.
