Registered Nurse/Endorsed Enrolled Nurse/Patient Support Assist

The Position
Due to continued growth, we are seeking compassionate, dynamic, and motivated Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, New Graduates and Patient Support Assistants to join our Clinical Services team.

Services that our facility currently offers:

• Five surgical and medical wards
• 9 bed Critical Care Unit including a level 4 intensive care unit and level 5 coronary care unit
• 14 bed Day Oncology Unit
• Cardiac Investigations Unit
• Medical consulting suites and specialist centre
• 5 theatre complexes
• Emergency Department

Key Selection Criteria

• Evidence of completion or near completion of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification or Diploma of Nursing qualification
• Evidence of registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or eligibility for registration prior to commencement
• Certificate III in Health Services Assistant or a similar qualification (highly desirable) – Patient Support Assistant Applicants
• Demonstrated clinical experience, knowledge, and skills (desirable)
• Provision of high-level patient focused care delivered with empathy and compassion
• Demonstrated ability to critically think in a fast - paced environment
• Proven ability working collaboratively with in a multidisciplinary team
• Proven high-level communication, time management, problem solving and patient care skills

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements
It is a mandatory condition of employment that some roles within our hospital require you to be vaccinated, and remain vaccinated during your employment, against some or all of the following vaccine preventable diseases; Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping cough), and Hepatitis.
