The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic RN to work part-time, three days a week, with availability specifically on Thursdays and Fridays. Our privately owned family medical practice is known for being warm and welcoming, and our team is dedicated to finding a candidate who shares our work ethic. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a desire to work within a team that values mutual respect and serves a diverse community. This position is best suited for a Nurse who has a passion for chronic care and can fulfill the responsibilities of the clinic role.

Role requirements:
- Ensuring that all patients and visitors are received in a friendly and helpful manner, either in person or over the phone
- Possess the clinical skills to conduct detailed assessments of patients to improve health outcomes
- Ability to assesses and develop chronic disease management care plans that optimises improved health outcomes and have a passion for managing and co-ordinating care for patients with chronic care needs
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when recording and maintaining patient and clinic information
- Maintain Infection Control standards
- Responsible for Cold Chain Management
- Competent in administering vaccinations, spirometry, ECGs
- Proficient in wound care
- Assist doctors with minor surgical procedures
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team

Essential Requirements:
- Experience as a Practice Nurse is essential for this role, however community nursing experience highly regarded
- Current AHPRA Registered
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Unrestricted ability to work in Australia
- COVID 19 vaccination certificate
