Position:
Registered Psychologist/Provisional Psychologist
As a Psychologist/Provisional Psychologist you will be working with a wide variety of clients and you will play a vital role in providing exceptional therapeutic support to participants with various presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health challenges, and Trauma. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting assessments, designing personalised therapy plans, and guiding participants towards achieving their goals.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify and diagnose various mental health conditions.
· Develop personalised treatment plans and therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client
· Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals, to provide cohesive and integrated care.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards
Qualifications and Skills:
· Completion of a Bachelor's degree in psychology and current registration with AHPRA
· Experience working within the community and providing supports and services under the NDIS.
· Background in trauma will be highly regarded
· Have a current Working with Children Check (or prepared to obtain)
· Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based therapy.
· Strong knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and the ability to tailor treatment plans accordingly.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.
