About the role
We have exciting opportunities for Registered and Enrolled Nurses who are seeking flexible and fulfilling work with many of our reputable partners throughout Melbourne Hospitals and Aged Care Facilities.
Your tasks will include and not limited to:
• Follow organisation policies and practices at all times
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, oral hygiene, and continence management
• Assist clients with mobility and dressings
• Feeding residents with appropriate dietary requirements
• Personal care such as showering, toileting and changing clothes
• Maximising client’s physical functions through exercises
• Ensure that client’s privacy and dignity is maintained at all times
• Engage residents or clients to make them feel homely and connected
• Ensure documentation is accurate
• Complete incident report forms when required
• Review and follow individual support and care plans
• Able to work autonomously and in a team
• Any other tasks assigned from time to time
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
• Current AHPRA registration
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 12 months work experience
• Full Immunisation History including up to date COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations
• National Police Certificate (less than 6 months old)
• Working with Children Check
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate
• Valid CPR/BLS Certificate
• Working rights in Australia
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport is desirable
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
