The Royal Children's Hospital's (RCH) Vision is "A world where all kids thrive". RCH is a cornerstone member of the Melbourne Children's Campus, partnering with Murdoch Children's Research Institute, The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics and The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.
Applications are now open for a Surgical Registrar position, in the Department of Paediatric Surgery. This is a fixed term contract for 6-12 months, intended to commence in August 2024.
This position can be involved in the care of a range of general paediatric surgical patients including surgical sub-specialities and neonatal surgical conditions. Working within one of the busiest paediatric surgical services in Australasia, this role offers excellent supervision by consultant taff with great exposure to a wide variety of surgical conditions. The position involves participation in the after hours call roster, involvement in outpatient clinics, care of inpatients and operative surgery. This is a suitable position for experienced international trainees in Paediatric Surgery or experienced unaccredited trainees wishing to apply to the RACS training program
