Fixed Term Temporary Full-Time, 6 months with possible extension
The Registrar/Principal House Officer (Radiology) position supports Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff to ensure that Radiology services provided to the health service are in accordance with best practice models.

- Base salary range of $4822.20 - $5591.00 p.f. (L4-L9)
- Recreational leave loading 17.5%
- Employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%
- Vocational Training Allowance (if accepted into recognised vocational college training program)
If not accepted into a recognised vocational college training program, the appointment will be at the PHO range of L4-L7.
About the role
- Ensure clinical radiology services support effective flows through emergency, inpatient and outpatient service areas.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Attend tutorials, participate and present at grand rounds, attend compulsory courses, and participate in on-the job training in order to meet college requirements and develop clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participate in the provision of a shift roster to provide services out of hours, at night and on weekends.
- MBBS or equivalent (AMC)
- Minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical medical experience
- Australian Permanent Residency Status or Current work visa.
- General Registration with the Australian Medical Board /APHRA (no restrictions)
- English language skills testing pass level as per AHPRA
- Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): Health Care Workers in Queensland Health whose occupation poses a potential risk of exposure to blood or body fluids are required to provide evidence of vaccinations or proof that they are not susceptible (due to prior exposure to the disease and therefore have natural immunity) to the following VPD's Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis containing vaccine) according to the Queensland Health Policy.
