Registrar - Service - Medical Education 

Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments will be available for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/10/2024.

Position Profile: The Medical Education Registrar (MER) role is responsible for providing education, training and support to medical staff across the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG).

  • Located within the centralised FSFHG Medical Education Unit.
  • Three positions available across FSFHG.
  • Delivers education and training relevant to all FSFHG specialties and medical staff.
  • Full-time Monday to Friday role, including a half-day of clinical time in a speciality of your choosing.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.
