A Central QLD hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Intensive Care Medicine
Five day shifts Monday 11th March to Friday 15th March.
Seven night shifts 2000-0830 26/3 to 1/4 (finishing 8:30am 2nd April)
Minimum Clinical Skill Requirements - It is an expectation that the CCU MO has proficient skills and clinical expertise in managing an acutely unwell patient autonomously, but with the support of the CCU nursing team and the admitting consultants. These skills include, but not limited to:
- Advanced airway management
- Arterial line insertion and management
- Central line insertion and management
- Advanced intubation experience
- Procedural sedation experience
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Current ALS/PALS
Also need to comfortable with being the only doctor for the hospital on duty from about 8.30pm to 7am.
